Deep dark ruby red. Quite velvety in texture. On the nose jammy, cassis, ripe black fruit, plum, black berry, black cherry, pipe tobacco, licorice, coffee, almost abit sweet on the nose. On the palate ripe black fruit, a slight earthy note, a bit of heat from the alcohol. Enough acidity for a balanced wine. Very long finish. Seems to be in a very nice spot at the moment

Medium plus body with nicely flavored fruits including blackberry and raspberry. Middle is smooth and mild and the finish is medium with dark berries and medium smooth tannin

A bit light and tight on opening, fruity and very well balanced. Decanted for around an hour and a half. Moderately acidic but soft mellow tannins. Freshly floral, airy, and fruity with cherry and wood notes. Very approachable. Will let the second bottle rest for another five years or so. Should make any casual $15-20 wine enthusiast sing out “Well we’re moving on up, to the east side. We finally got a piece of the pie!!”

Once this wine opens up it is extremely pleasnt. It's very tight out of the bottle, decanting or just open in the bottle for a few hours gives this wine some extreme depth. True Napa Cabernet. Vanilla, clove, cardamom, baking spices. Bell pepper, with a slight raw tree bark taste. It has that freshly broken branch nose with a medium-high alcohol, moderate acidity.
This is a good wine. It has good balance. Slightly stiff price tag for the quality. However this wine does deliver. Worth a buy.
