The prior 85 rating is unfair. This is a well-made Rioja, built to go the long haul. Rich fruit backbone, great purity and not over oaked. Check out vivino ratings if you dont believe me.

SO much going on here. Deep dark color, aromas and flavors of red fruit, cocoa, coffee, charcoal, spices. Sensory overload!!! But in the best of ways. Wish I'd have roasted a freshly caught wild boar, really makes me crave something like that this wine. Drink now, or save for another few years.

Full body rioja with very nicly integrated vanila cask aroma. Lingonberry fruit with some bitterness, dark cherries, earthy aromas. The high alcohol is well hidden by the fruit and vanilla falvours.
