PnP and had with grilled NY Strip, this is still tasting youthful, has years to go. Dark and blue fruit hits you right off the jump. Very modern styled rioja.Big wall of fruit, this was so tasty. Definitely would be good for sipping .

JD Friday Wine Group - ED host (City Club, FW): Served blind - deep and dark in the glass, with lots of blue and black fruits on the nose. A bit sweet on the palate, and overpowered by the black pepper on the steak served with the reds. I did not get the dryness or dustiness I typically get with Rioja, so that wasn't even on my radar. It was pure fruit, and I wrote down a syrah, but I think ultimately guessed a zinfandel, as our host loves zins. Way off. But good wine.

Last enjoyed back in late 2010...an exceptional wine. Still youthful in appearance displaying a clear, deep ruby color, no bricking. Complex and pronounced aromas and flavors starting to turn tertiary, leading with drying celery, spicy green leafiness, cooked blackberry, stewed red cherry, red berry, brown sugar, powdered cocoa and some sour, red, dry dirt. Balanced with fruits, tannin and acids in harmony. Excellent finish. Enjoyed with taco, chicken enchiladas. Drink now, but has another 2-5+ years of life.

Moderner Rioja mit viel Blaubeere und Johannisbeere, Barbecue, Holz, sehr gefällig, allerdings auch keine Ecken und Kanten, jugendlich, lecker!

From Mag, opens up nicely with some air, a crowd pleaser and very elegant Rioja, will hold for several more years.
