  • Served blind and people were calling all sorts of things.

This particular wine is made exclusively from the portion of Etelois that protrudes awkwardly into griotte. I am sure there is some detailed analysis of the geology that will reveal why this tiny portion of the lieu dit is classified as such.

Very dark upon opening, almost purple. People were calling 2020, 2021 etc. With that being said, the fruit profile was not dark, but red. The wine was one of levity and freshness while still possessing some of the structure and rusticity of Gevrey. These wines undeniably are made in a very modern and pleasurable way. A stunning village wine.

  • Excellent village wine. Floral and stem, quite concentrated.

  • Popped & poured... This wasn't expressive at first; Needed a while to open up... Pleasant aromas of red-dark berries, with a bit of smoke/earth. Such silky texture, medium-bodied with nice flavours of plums and more cherries. A good village wine!
