Really enjoyed this wine 2 years ago, but this time was just good. Not sure if my taste has changed or something about this bottle. Maybe time has taken its toll. Just lacked the fruit of the prior bottle.

PnP chilled. Clear, med straw color. Medium nose. Wow, this is as good as Vouvray gets. Clean, bright, full intensity fruit and juicy finish. You can drink this all day, everyday. A steal at $19. Nothing off.

Pale straw gold. This has a faint, old clove tobacco smoke scent that is odd, but blows off. Off dry, nice rich mouth feel and balance. Pleasant and easy. Barely a hint of any oxidative notes

WSET, Level 3 Advanced Certifcation Training; 3/11/2018-4/22/2018 (Texas Wine School at the Food & Wine Foundation of Texas, Austin, TX): Tasting sample. Medium lemon color. Youthful, medium aromas of blossom, spicy apple, lemon, lime and peach. Off-dry palate with medium plus flavors of spiced apple, tart lemon and lime, and unripe peach. Medium alcohol, medium acidity, and medium body. Finish is medium. A good wine as demonstrated by great balance and nice intensity. Short on complexity as demonstrated by primary aromas and flavors and medium length. Drink now, probably won’t benefit from further aging.

Absolutely fantastic Vouvray (Chenin Blanc). Just the right flavor balance and sweet/tart balance. One of my favorites.
