First Wednesday Wine Club (Francobollo, Haberfield): "Served blind. Medium minus intensity aromas, quite closed, a little charcuterie, muted red and black fruits, sweet spice. Medium plus intensity acidity, drying tannic grip, some residual sugar, muted fruit. Acid and tannins say Italy. Residual sugar makes me think of Puglia but there is a lack of alcohol warmth...stumped again. Bit of age?"
