En flaske drukket på hytta. Farge: Mørk mursteinsrød med innslag av lilla. Lukt: Kirsebær og tørket frukt. Lukten bekreftes i smaken. En del tanniner. Lang ettersmak, men muligens litt for mye preget av tannninene. Tanninene ble rundere og mindre dominerende da vinen hadde sått litt i karafell og blitt litt varmere. Etterhvert ble vinen mye rundere enn rett etter at vi åpnet flasken. En god Amarone, uten å imponere. Kunne vært mer elegant, balansert og rundere.

Cesari Tasting (Esquin Wine, Seattle): Not as finessed as the 2004. More brash riper fruit and more alcoholic. A bit volatile. Not build for long aging.

Ce fût un délice avec un bon steak sur BBQ en provenance du Charbon a Québec. avec champignons. le vin est pourpre, d'une belle opcaité, n entrevoit de belles larmes sur les pourtours de la coupe au nez, c'est fermé la première heure, mais en s'ouvrant c'est le fruits mur, un beau boisé, quelque chose comme de l'encre et du cuir. intéressant comme vin en bouche on y retrouve une matière veloûté avec beaucoup d'opulence, un grain tannique intéressant et une belle fraîcheur pour soutenir le tout. Le vin est extra. on en redemande

Ripe dark fruit nose with notes of black cherries, arctic raspberries and cassis. Leafy notes, slight perfume character, pencil shavings and chocolate. Fullbodied and fruity but dry palate with meaty bite. Raisins, chocolate covered cherries and plums as well as some medicinal hints, earth and dark liquorice. Lengthy. There's some nice dusty earth and charcoal notes to the welcomed dryness of the wine that make this Amarone work for me. Quite nice.

There's some nice dusty earth and charcoal notes to the welcomed dryness of the wine that make this Amarone work for me. Quite nice.
