Ok, compared to my previous note, this has definitely settled down, although I find it very hard to describe. The fruit is quite pure black cherry, and somehow both concentrated and light. There’s a bit of chocolate and them even a cassis/Cabernet character at times - it really changes in the glass. A bit of salt water and tobacco too, and all the flavour is at the edges of the palate. Probably enjoying this the most out of all the bottles I’ve tried so far. No evidence of the meatiness observed previously.

Looking back at my previous note I can't quite believe I said this was elegant! It does indeed have a savoury roasted meat quality on opening; with a lot of air though it transforms into this really high octane, wincingly concentrated wine with layers of cherry, jam, black fruits. Supremely polished. In need of serious laying down?

Nice spicy herbes de Provence, groseilles rouges, fresh, hint of mineral... Very delicate groseilles rouges, nice sappy acidity, good length, very feminine and delicate.

Dominik Huber of Terroir al Limit - Priorat Talk and Tasting (Texas Wine School, Houston, Tx): A: Deep purple N: Red plum, blackberry, raspberry (underripe. A little bitter), graphite. Medium (-) intensity P: Dry, full body, high acid, medium (+) headed to full body, medium intensity and finish. Medium (+) tannin and medium (+) alcohol C: This is missing intensity right now and the tannins seem rather chewable. Not balanced yet, Not complex just yet but shows some promise. A bit closed at the moment but i think its Good Quality wine that will improve with time. North Facing vineyards to mitigate the heat.
