Seems ready to go now. Sour cherry, rhubarb, pepper. Cola aftertaste, which is my pet peeve with American pinot. I'd like this more with less bite at the end.

This is a robustly built, densely packed and velvety wine with smooth layers of integrated oak. Tannins provide the power and foundation behind its crisp blue fruit and dried herb flavors, seasoned with cola and black pepper spice.

Nice substance and concentration; oak dominant and too sweet for my taste; but this was the wine a lot of the group kept coming back to (even next to the superb Cliff Lede beckstofer TK and Scarlet Love of the same vintage).
