  • Good bourgogne, took a little time to open, but nice fruit there once it did.

  • Even better than the last bottle, lovely sharpness to the fruit. Actually think this has a bit more to give over the coming years.

  • Drinking nicely given the vintage. Plenty of nice red summer fruit bringing sweet notes, a touch of acidity for balance. Some depth of flavour too, though not super complex by any stretch. Definitely on the lighter side and has a cool climate feel, but very agreeable all round. V happy with recent purchase of 6 bottles at a reasonable price.

  • [Screwtop] This pours very light ruby in the glass. The nose is light, airy, and low in intensity and complexity. The nose is of peony, herbal bitters, twigs, cranberry, beetroot, and tart raspberry. The palate enters on the light and tart red fruit turning to medium minus tannin and medium acid. The finish is quite tart, leafy/herbaceous, and lingers on a bitter note. All in all this is a very ordinary bottle of pinot noir that could come from just about any cool climate or cool vintage, very marked by light tart red fruit and herbaceous notes. Reminicent of entry level bottles I've had from places like Germany, Ontario, Alsace, or the Jura. And not really a knock against it, this is perfectly acceptable as a light food friendly Bourgogne. But ultimately it doesn't really impress, and isn't great value for money.

  • Patrice Rion, Bourgogne
Innsmigrende nese med undermodne rødbær, sopp, lær. Lekker munn med sopp, rips, blomster og umodne jordbær. Mineralsk med litt lav konsentrasjon. God dybde, bra kompleksitet. Fast munn, syrefrisk og gavmild. Latterlig bra Pinot Noir! 87-88

    Patrice Rion, Burgundy
Flirty nose with underripe red berries, mushrooms, leather. Nice mouth with mushrooms, redcurrants, flowers and immature strawberries. Mineral with slightly low concentration. Good depth, good complexity. Solid mouth, fresh and generous. Ridiculously good Pinot Noir! 87-88
