  • Visiting the wine estate from the US, we loved the DeMorgenzon whites, especially the reserve chenin blanc. They mentioned the Divas as, per Matt Kramer, 'one of the three most interesting white wines of the 21st century.' I took the bait and for $74 US took one home. We tasted it today with a group of wine friends. Too cold and closed to start, it opened up and truly became a very interesting wine. Complex and unidentifiable as a chenin blanc, worth the price and schlepping. The chenin Blancs and pinotages are showing much better than during our visit in 2013... and the rand is down dramatically. Can't wait to go back!
