Snagged this as another random price blip brought it well under market value. Very fine presentation in plump, narrow-necked bottle and sturdy black rubberised card box with plentiful information and magnetic closure. Bright mid gold. Rich, creamy nose with lemon, apple, and apricot, but also something a little muddy/cheesy. Similar taste, a touch disjointed. Tart lime acidity, moderate fruit, but also something mildly offputting. It's okay, and drinkable, but lacks pinot character and hasn't charmed me. So glad I didn't pay the RRP. Pure pinot noir from the Montagne de Reims. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Amazon, £24.23, usually £50-60].
