Found this "forgotten" bottle in my cellar. Some difficulty with the cork. Dark ruby red. In the nose dark fruit and and spices. Medium bodied with nice acidity. Great bottle!!

I'm an idiot for having just one bottle of this, and now, it's gone (tears, lots of tears). Cork/fill in vg condition; color pours a medium ruby, quite bright and clear, and rather aged claret-like. Medium body that gains a minor amount of weight after it's first opened, with tannins that haven't yet fully resolved. Which is to say this is right in my wheelhouse, showing solid structure, with still fresh secondary and tertiary attributes. Classic Cabernet Sauvignon flavors and aromas that show a base of soil notes that resonate subtly in the background right through the final glass. Brilliantly judged, very pure, and quite long on the final. Bravo! 13,5% abv., best with 60 minutes of aeration, and should be consumed in the next 5-8 years. highly recommended for fans of the classic, restrained style of this variety.
Decanted 2hrs, I last tasted what I thought was my last bottle more than 2.5 years ago. I found this bottle rather serendipitously rumminging through my cellar, better than I remember or as my notes suggested, still plenty of fruit, cherry, plum, raspberry, cassis, mineral notes, smooth intergrated finish. Hopefully I will find another bottle this good!

(ISOLE E OLENA CABERNET SAUVIGNON) #1; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-enormous fruit; beautiful black cherries, raspberry pie; coconut aspect; very dark chocolate; TASTE-extremely dry; tannins are very ripe; love the chocolate seduction, good mouthfeel; very silky; wintergreen Pine Cone aspect mixed w/ chocolate & fruit; nice complexity, grip & attack on the palate; but doesn't finish "super-delicious"; solid wine; many would like, but not great QPR; DT-93; GV-90

Wow!
Ruddy red garnet. Full bodied.
Meaty. Leather. Cigar box. Some stewed fruit
Tastes like the nose. Dry. Soft tannin. Medium finish
Much better than the last bottle I recently opened.

Earthy and aromatic, green and pretty, and lively and darn, so good on the palate, and still alive and pretty!
