  Plump and dense, fresh and ripe.
  Deep Ruby. Pronounced. Violet, red and black cherry, raspberry, cassis, fresh. Cinammon. Oak, vanilla. Medium + acidity, medium, fine tannins. There is richness and tension. Long and complex finish. Outstanding.

  I have made yesterday a comment about a 2015 genuine Burgundy of Ghislaine Barthod and filed it by error under the Village section and canceled my comment today. Sorry for that. Today, I opened the Village:
  Dark cherries, spices, saline notes, pure and sophisticated. This is a wonderful wine with good density and length. Excellent for the level. Good already, but can go for long years.

  Første flaske av denne i 15. Har ventet gitt rykte til produsenten, kun tatt noen BR som har vært gode.. Men..., denne var åpen og tilgjengelig etter en time i karaffel. Mørk rød, litt beskjeden på nesen med røde kirsebær. I munnen, overraskende fruktig og fyldig, absolutt tilgjengelig. Tipper at god frukt i 15 skjuler tanninene godt nå. Tanninene kommer etter en times tid i åpen flaske, men totalintrykket er frisk rød frukt, god+ syre, medium+ fylde og lang og elegant, men ikke spesielt kompleks. 90-91p

  Utrolig fin farge, rødlilla, rubin. Klar. Kald initialt og litt dempet. Rød frukt og litt urter, litt jordaktig. Med luft og litt temperatur åpenbarer den seg i glasset. Deilig å lukte på. Kirsebær, rips, jordbær. Julekrydder, skogbunn, urter. I munnen syrlig rødbærsfrukt, fremtredende syre. Klokkeren. Skikkelig kraft i midtpartiet og modne fint balanserende taniner. Helt super lengde. Dette er da virkelig en fantastisk village Chambolle!

  fresh and elegant. wild cherries, blueberries, plum, sous bois. there was movement in the wine as it changed its aroma profile over the course of the night.
  
  on the palate also fresh and eeeextremly juicy, tannins present (medium+), nice drinkflow, high acidity, medium body. good lentgth.
  
  for me personally the tannin structure is not yet fully integrated (a bit „off“). lacks a bit of balance in this regard. the others on the table didnt find it too disturbing, so i guess it was only disturbing to me. eager to see how others will interpret this wine.
  over all a really good wine for a village. price is undoubtly too high.
