Decanted about two hours. Light to med red color, looks aged, very claret-like nose but with boatloads of mint plus earth on the palate. Good acidity and tannins still. No rush.

Bright light red. Very ripe red raspberry, spice, pepper and earth nose. I mistakenly thought Aussie. My bad. Really delicious earthy red fruit flavours and a long dry but balanced finish.
Kept improving in the glass. A very good wine.

Too much acid while fruit already faded.

First time I had an old Rust en Vrede. Very Bordeaux like, nice acidity and in a great shape. Wish I had more of these...
