  Dark fruits bouquet with a touch of savory and some vanilla. Deep color but not totally dense so attractive dark crimson red.
  
  The wine has intense berry fruit flavour straight away and then some complexity of the savory aspect (Malbec?) with rounded tannins and nice acidity to carry good length.
  
  Very attractive after taste and similar in an almost empty glass. This wine should keep for 10 years easy (screwcap) and remain quite fresh. I had a 2006 recently and was impressed. 2013 was a great year in Hawkes Bay and this wine shows it.
