Delicious. The perfect accompaniment for a Provencal chicken - even when served in the middle of December! The floral notes and underlying tart acidity are more refined than the Rose Menetou Salon of Gilbert (drunk side by side); I think of this akin to a French polished furniture finish, in which more depth is revealed from slow burnishing.
Rated 1 on a scale of -1 to 3.

Like the two Sancerre Pinot Noir Roses, this was very nice. It’s more on the white wine spectrum for a Rose with Lime and Green apple dominating the palate, though it lacked the distinctive chalky mineralitly that the Sancerre Roses had (no Kimmeridgian soil here). It was a good match with food and especially salt cod. A very nice wine overall, but I think a little less complex than the Sancerre Pinot Noir Roses, which sell for the same price or even chaper. I’m not sure I would buy this over a Vacheron Rose for instance.

Nice aperitif. Mineral, linear, fresh rose. Drink now. Not sure worth the PYCM tariff.

Dinner with Dan H (Provence Restaurant, Albany, NY): [Pop n pour.] Appealing sweet strawberry nose. Dry in the mouth. Tasty! Quality rose.

Just had a small taste, but this seemed to be a pleasant rose with the slightest hint of sweetness balanced by acidity, strawberries and melon.
