  Color (5/5): Dark purple garnet that coats the glass. Nose (13/15): Cassis and butterscotch with a hint of spice. The bouquet really flows out of the glass. Palate (16/20): Cassis and dark berry with wood on entry. Firm tannic structure and creamy berries mid-palate. Berry, dark chocolate and the acidity of coffee on the medium long finish. Potential (6/10): Drinking well now, especially with food, but wood and fruit should integrate better over the next 5-10 years. Will be truly rhapsodic by then.
