Dry, firm, robust with load of garrigue; very local wine with a sound build, a sunny heart. It ends a wee bit fry, the warm vintage speaks, a joy nevertheless #Kandestederne

nice red colour. nose with red berries, fine taste with pepper, crisp red fruit and a bit of licorise in the end. fine tannins. nice cote du rhone. to go with lamb, beef, stews and duck.

As always very reliable; fresh fruit in the bouquet, a lively color, a firm taste combined with the freshness of the fruit and a solid aftertaste; even better next year?

Wow, the spices. And the attack of pepper. Never had a wine like this. On the finish the fruit comes clear and lingers on and on and on.
This is very interesting but I'm actually not sure I like it. Must drink another one. Soon. Maybe even tonite. Points will come later.
Edit: Took a little bit of chocolate and suddenly this wine was world class. Im intrigued. Edit 2: Oh, I like it alright. No doubt about it. Edit 4: Stone me into the groove... Edit 5: Had another bottle. Just as good.

A collection of plots of vines planted on Vacqueyras & Rasteau (Crus), Roaix & Seguret (Côtes-du-Rhône Villages) communes. Grenache 70%, Syrah 15%, Mourvèdre 10%, Carignan, Cinsault, Clairette 5 %. Very nice balanced, restrained, untypically calm for a Rhone blend with 14,5% alcohol. Persistent, juicy, fresh, long. Structured. Very good. Organic.
