I have no experience with aged white burgundies so not going to score this. It had been buried in my cellar for 15 years and in my wine readings I heard that whites from Burgundy can age so I was looking forward to trying this with grilled sockeye salmon. Cork was perfect. Color surprised me, looked like a Pilsner beer left overnight in the glass. Very muted nose not much left I guess. On the palate I immediately tasted fresh mushrooms. I’ve tasted plenty of wine and that’s a first, especially in a white. Overall it wasn’t spoiled or vinegar tasting just kind of bland. Oh well I guess you need grand cru vineyards for those special bottles I read about.

sb Brilliant gold colored Strong whiff of ginger saffron botrytis initially I almost thought Riesling Bone dry, soft feel, not over ripe Just enough acidity, but clearly at a peak and unlikely to improve. Drink up while this is so pleasant.
Later with 3 hours of air this had all but faded to mostly innocuous white wine

Only a 1/4" ullage and a light gold color, purchased on release and stored in a climate controlled cellar, but completely oxidized.

Ok, not great...a bit still drinking fine, no sign of age, but not also not much fruit or other good stuff.
