Dark garnet purple-red. Fruit des bois nose, some liquorice, black pepper, slight rose overtones. Medium to medium-full bodied. Softened tannins, woodland fruits, white pepper prickle. A good example of a Cotes-du-Rhone Villages wine. Will drink well for next 2 years. Still a great personal favourite.

Deep purpel color. Strawberry, anis, licorice, herbs, medium intensity, just a hint of alcohol (it is 15%abv). Medium body, well integrated and soft tannins, long, good acidity, high consentration, hints of alocohol as the wine goes down. The alcohol is abit high, but other then that the wine is well made and balanced, nice spicy finish, still quite youthfull.

Sweet red fruit, garrigue herbs there and it sustains right across the palate with a long finish. I only bought a case of 12 of the 2015, inexplicably missed the better!! Grrhhh! 2016 but snaffled 2 cases of the not too shabby 2017. This cost me for the 2017 in the UK £12.50 delivered or about $15.50 which is a bargain. I would unhesitatingly recommend any Rhone fan to try this wine from any recent vintages, you will not be disappointed.

Puissant, velouté, capiteux, cerise noire, recommandé avec une mousse chaude au chocolat au 110 taillevent; peu sucrée, ça se mariait bien !
