14.5% abv. Opaque dark purple, long slow staining of the tears. Oak dominates nose, blackest of fruits, cedar, creosote, baking spice. Tannins on entry, med plus weight in mouth, dry, bright fruit, cherry and blueberry, leather, clove. Good potential, can lay this down for several more years.
Day 2 - 92. Slight improvement, still lively, don't think this will ever be sweet or opulent but is has the structure for long life and enjoy with food.

P: Med, poss MF, body; Almost swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which SOMEWHAT unfolds by the long (albeit very slightly faint) finish. Needs a couple of yrs, but the finish (at least currently) troubles me. 14.5% ABV; [As of mid Apr '20, wine-searcher shows no sources for this vintage].
