Still a very fresh and invigorating wine even 9 years later. Tangy acidity and surprisingly still-there tannins. Tart cherry, underripe strawberry, raspberry, and a slightly earthy character on the palate. Nice robust nose upon opening. A lot of character to this wine.
$15 USD via Last Bottle was a no-brainer for this. Just the kind of pinot I gravitate toward.

What a great Pinot and fabulous QPR purchased from LB, just what I like in a Willamette Pinot. Bright tannins and a spicy character, raspberry on the nose, nice perfume, a darker ruby color than I expected. 30 - 45 minutes exposure to air brought out tart cherry, boysenberry fruit and took off some edge but there was still plenty of lingering acidity. Paired very well with a pan seared cod with a balsamic reduction, roasted asparagus. In its prime but plenty of life left.

Absolutely delightful. A bit astringent on the finish but a nice qpr Williamette

Interesting nose (I suck at this part). Earthy maybe. Nice structure. Spice, earth, subdued fruit on the pallette. Medium finish.
Punches well above its weight for the $15 paid on last bottle. Look for it again!
