Spicy camphor and orange acidity, a bit sweet&sour that is. Tart acidity on the tongue but soft-ish attack with some vanilla and nutmeg-infused milk followed by a prickly freshness that has a watery feel although there is quite the body on this wine. Not the longest finish. Don't save. Will try with food. Agree with Chatters, a bit highly priced for what it is. But still a good effort.

Pyramid Valley (Best Cellars, Crown Street): Muted sweet spice, butter, slight peach, lemon and almost green apple, slightly leesy, yoghurty notes. In the mouth it's juicy, amost tart in fact, with apples over peach, slightly buttery notes and quite a bit of almost drying tannic grip. Fruit persists quietly beneath this. Hmm. Expensive at AUD 140
