Lovely bouquet of black currant, cream, and spice that is consistent in the palate. Finish that has consistent integrated elements and great length.
I suppose this could use 4-5 more years to get to absolute peak, where we could see the tannin soften further and the elements even more integrated and harmonious!

This rich and dense Cabernet needs another few years of bottle time (read: wait!!), since it's currently more tight and inward than other vintages of the Oakville wine (read: track down the 2010, 2012, or 2014, exceptional wines that are ready to go). Without a doubt, the 2015 has real class and intensity, but it needs more bottle age to reach its (considerable) potential.
Dark red in color and medium in body, the wine offers explosive aromas of boysenberry, cocoa powder, espresso, and pencil lead (the kind in the wall-affixed sharpener in grade school). If the aromas are expansive, the flavors are inward, with dense notes of blackberry, leather, tar, and cardamon, with a dense finish that continues to be prickly and tannic after three hours of air. Blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot, and 2% Merlot. 14.5% alcohol. 94 for now, but this wine should be something incredible at the 10-year mark. For this wine at least, maybe it's true that good things come to those who wait...
Served by the glass. Excellent combination of 71% CS, 23% CF, 4% PV and up to 2% Merlot. Wealth and high quantity of density. Strong aromas of cassis cream, liquorice, graphite or pebbles. Fortunately there is finesse and an aristocratic touch so all that concentration can be enjoyed. I find it somewhat scarce of acidity which compromises its aging for more than five years. In almost any case, it does not justify its price and explains the devotion of many American colleagues for the wine of Jumilla like Clío. Thank you Joaquín for your generosity. You're the man.

Great example of a 15 from Oakville here.

cassis, blue florals, pencil shavings, licorice, black currant, blackberries, mocha, chocolate, truffles and forest floor
silky mid palate, black fruit core, robust tannin and nice acidity. Refined finish. Starting to come around nicely.
