  • Coravined half the bottle over prior 2 nights, night three I'm pulling the cork. Aligned w my note from last year, still catch Rhône on the nose. Strikes me as an old world wine but then again, this is at the end of its runway.

Easy drinker, not particularly complex and softer than its age suggests. But enjoyable and at $30 was one of the many gifts that came from "the virus."

    Drink up and enjoy!

  • Too much primary red cherry on the palate for me. The tannins and acidity were good and with air the fruit receded and became better.
I think it is a well made wine, just not what I prefer.

  • Not decanted. Fine right out of the bottle, 2.5 hrs after opening (not decanted) there’s Rhône on the nose which opens up to well integrated red fruits and light tannins. Wish I bought more when they were closing out, a screaming deal @ $30, and I’d be happy at far more. Fruit is fading, will drink my remaining bottle this year.

Glass and a half finished two nights later; while soft, was still fine.

  • Similar to previous notes. This is easygoing, has a sweet core of well-balanced fruit. Enticing and great value. Would buy more but it sold out fast. Avoid the '13 though as it's terrible.

  • I was very pleasantly surprised at how good this was, considering I recently had the '13 which was very terrible. This had a good fruit profile unlike the '13 and none of the congestion of the '13. This was open-knit, and I can see why it's been compared to Bordeaux. This actually felt like a quality left bank wine from the '10 vintage - so much freshness on the back end. One of the very best price-quality ratio wines I've had in a while. Shame it sold out as I'd buy more for sure - at $30 this was crazy good quality.
