Light straw/yellow in colour. Aromas of apples, light lime and lemon, some florals, and a touch of ripe peaches and a whiff of petrol. Nice steely minerality as well. Tangy crisp acidity, medium weight for a Riesling. Apples and lemony lime flavours with a touch of peach and pineapple. There is some sweetness but the acidity keeps it in cheque. Fluid mouthfeel, round, long finish. Some minerality/slate/flintiness kicks in on the mid-palate to finish. While slightly off-dry, the finish is dry.

2016 Tantalus Riesling (Okanagan) (5/5/2019) Light straw colour; apple, melon, peach and floral nose with perhaps a very distant whiff of petrol; deliciously crisp acidity nicely toned down with a hint of sweetness, very round and long (just like my waistline)...kind of an Okanagan version of a Mosel at your disposal (but beware the heftier alcohol at 13%, eh). A wonderful patio sipper that makes a shout-out to trout but would also dance nicely with shrimp, ham or any tropical salad. Unscrew while new to you.

This is a benchmark white for the whole valley - medium pale yellow, crisp, savoury, citrus, lime nose - luscious fruit, a hint of sweet that is immediately married to a juicy acidity, finishes very dry - classic - YUM! - the dance played out between the sweet fruit and the staunch acidity is a joy to experience

Lime nose & entry. Juicy acidity makes it seem bone dry, official residual sugar notwithstanding. Mid weight. Long, slate finish. Love it
