Yellow w slight ambering; as color suggests there is oxidative influence on the aromas and flavors but the ample acid backbone of this cool Carneros-sourced wine keeps the oxidative nut oil funk in focus w the residual lemon apple stuffing.

HUB Tasting (Custom House): Full golden color. Big forward oaky yellow fruit nose. Big oaky yellow smoky fruit on the palate. Holding up OK, but never going to absorb all this oak and balance out.

Yellow still; lemon and apples (rather fresh) and oak even still yet on nose; creamy alcoholic mouth feel; found a bit of what De Leon sought.

Tight upon opening, then developed taste of hazelnuts, vanilla and lemon. Fantastic. Drink soon as I can't imagine it getting any better.
