Dark purple color starting out. Strong presence initially that calmed out after 1.5 hour decant is sweet spit, started to fall off a bit after being open for 2.5+ hours in decanter. Some red fruit early on in addition to black fruit, which was more present at the end. Good finish

Pours very dark. Big Sonoma Cabernet nose of blue fruit, cassis, leather and cola. On the palate I agree with the "grimy tannin" note below, but it's balanced with nice blue and red fruit. Big with plenty of time left to mellow and integrate. 14.5% ABV

First half of the bottle was decanted, with these notes following 40 minutes in the decanter.
Bramble, dark fruit, fig/raisin on the nose. Profile is driven by soft fruit thats flavorful, backed by only a hint of structured leather that leaves a faint, dry finish front palate. This isn’t made in a Cali-cab Parker-Style that’s in-your-face heavy, but lacks the finesse you look for in Old World. IMO this isn’t for long-term cellaring but is a fine short term drinker at a reasonable price.
Amended: 4 hrs after opening drinking from the half bottle not decanted, there’s a bit more structure blended into the fruit leading to a better balanced wine, but still flabbier than we prefer.

One-hour decant. Well-made but a tad too plumy for me. Not sure if it's past the point of no return or not. Drink.

Big with good structure. Tannins are raw and grimy, needs time to evolve and mellow. Drink in 2023 or later
