  This Malbec was decanted for 2 hours before we enjoyed it alongside stuffed quail and sautéed rainbow Swiss chard.
  
  First to show on the nose were delightful fresh herbs-basil and mint-followed by hints of cedar and pine.
  
  The wine has a beautiful, lush texture, and the taste begins with ripe plums, dark cherries, and milk chocolate. It has medium acidity and ends on a smooth, rich, sweet note. The structure isn't quite adequate to balance the sweetness and acidity.
  
  Overall, it is an enjoyable wine which I do not expect to improve with age..
