  Købt på Tenuta. Havde egentlig købt (og betalt for) en 2011 Ronchi Riserva, men da jeg kom hjem og pakkede vinen ud, så stod jeg med en Angelo 2014. En god måde at komme af med en udfordret årgang? Anyway, bestemt en god vin med en herlig åben næse. Åbenlys nebbiolo med lakrids, roser, violer, provancekrydderi, kirsebær, blå blommer, sort peber og kamfer. Lækkert og med mange lag og nuancer. I munden er vinen let i teksturen og med nogen syre og relativ markante tanniner. Rigtig godt glas vin, som både kan drikkes nu, men også har masser af overskud til flere år i kælderen.

  Klar mørk rød mot mer orange rand.
  Florale toner med tulipaner i front. Finner også bringebær lemonade og vanilje. Senere rosehage.
  Tett, kompromissløs og tett. Fortsatt er tanninene faste og fremtredende. Lær og lakris. Mørke modne jordbær.
  Helt til slutt pepper.

  Just the second time this 'tribute' wine (in memory of their father) has been produced. Garnet+ color, bright and lively. The nose is flowery at first, followed by good soil, and rich red>dark red aromas, then some roses and orange peel; flavors largely follow the nose. The nose gets more interesting by the second taste, this wine's got some obvious charm - add that to the fact it's well-structured, and balanced, and we've got solid wine. Fine, sweet tannins; adds weight and depth on second taste. Some elegance is likely to develop in a few years, but right now the palate is not living up to the potential suggested by the nose. HOLD. 14,5% abv. (resolved), drink 2022-2037. recommended
