Nose of sawdust, leather, and berries. Nose is quite Bretty, but that doesn't come through on the palate, which shows blackberry and cranberry flavours. Medium-bodied, silky entry gives way to strong acid and moderate tannin. Seemed very young - I wouldn't have guessed that it was more than 5 years old.

Mid red, slightly brown with bricking. On the nose, quite savoury, with damp earth, but underpinned by ripe/rich berries still. Tobacco leaf, cigar box and dark red fruit. Tannins still there but not over the top. Nice. Now to 2 yrs.
