Still has it in terms of being well balanced fruit and deep flavor. More fruit and less spice to me, but still lovely. I was very curious since I have been drinking a number of Australian wines from early 2000s and not all have held up well. This is is still a winner.

Very dark ruby color. Black raspberry and herbs on nose, black raspberry and plums on the palate with soft earth, smoke, chocolate and nice herbs like rosemary. Smooth mature tannins with nice long finish. Lovely wine that was fully mature and in god balance.

Properly cellared since purchase in '04, it was aromatic, with black fruits, particularly Damson Plum predominating. Velvety mouth feel, not overly complex, but with mediterranean herbs complimenting the marinated grilled flank steak we had it with. A very satisfying drink, before, during and after the meal. I think it has a couple more years of good life in it.

Getting a bit musty before its time. Popped and poured. I expect others will be found correct and this will fade fast in the bottle.
