The wine was decanted an hour or so before tasting. Colour is a nice dark ruby, medium full body and a nose of dark berries, cedars oak and some undergrowth characters. The oak is quite firm though the fruit is still evident.
The palate shows red and dark fruit - cassis, plum, blueberry and a touch of violet. It actually does taste like a wine from Margaux with the sweet berry notes. The tannins are quite firm and there was no crust to be seen thus it should last well for some years.
I had never heard of this wine after drinking Bordeaux for some decades. It was better than expected - a mix of traditional and modern characters with 13.5% ABV which does not stick out. I am quite impressed - okay it is not anywhere near Ch Margaux or Palmer but offers good drinking at a reasonable price.

Improved since the first bottle 2 years ago. Solid and enjoyable but nothing spectacular. Blackberry, tobacco, blackcurrant, earthy notes. Paired with hamburgers and mac n cheese.

By the glass. Lurton family is behind this easy-to-drink and hard-to-age wine. Bottle direct and pleasant without complicity on the nose nor depth in the mouth. It is that typical "here and now". Nothing remarkable, nothing offensive.
Por copas. La familia Lurton está detrás de este vino fácil de beber y difícil de envejecer. Botella directa y agradable sin complicidad en nariz ni profundidad en boca. Es el típico "aquí y ahora". Nada destacable, nada ofensivo.

Dark fruits, earthy cedar. Strong tannins and finish is a bit harsh
