  By the bottle at Hattaway’s on Alder in Walla Walla. Nose is lifted, red fruited, lightly earthy. Palate is easy-going with solid Grenache typicity: tannins all over the place, juicy red fruits, some earthy bitterness on the finish that I always associate with Grenache. With time and air it’s getting nicer: slightly more candied strawberry, sightly more floral. Solid if not necessarily life-changing.
