Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • At the Earth tasting, library selections. Oldest wine at the tasting, fun to experience an Oregon wine with this amount of age.

As expected, color was faded, browning, separating at the rim. Nose was faded red fruits, mushrooms and "old furniture"... Palate of dusted old cherry, earth, savory notes. Way past its prime (20+ years past...?) but still had some interesting fruit and fun to try an old wine from an early Oregon vintner!
