Pale ruby with a purple highlight on the rim Medium (+) nose of violets, black plum, red cherries, cranberries, clove, liquorice, leather, soil Dry, medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol, medium (+) body, medium (+) intensity and finish. Medium (+) tannin on the gums Very good quality wine. Better examples would have longer finish and perhaps more intensity.
Suitable for ageing as already showing tertiary flavors and has sufficient acidity to keep fresh whilst developing further
guess: Cru Beaujolais as juicy, lots of red fruit, fairly tame tannins
Mistakes: Would expect a little more steminess and fine grained medium tannins with Beaujolais crus. Was talked into looking for signs of carbonic maceration which I rarely find in the Cru Beaujolais these days. Convinced myself that there was potting soil where there wasn't. It was fruit driven (so new world).

Nice youthful Pinot fruit. Good on first pour, mellows out a bit. Fresh and ripe. Nice wine.
