Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 77 points

  • At a tasting of old CNPs, each of which were at least 20+ years old. Brick-orange in bowl progressing to brown at rim, with a clear edge. Nose was cedar and barnyard, some prunes therein. While no tannins were present in the mouth, the alcohol had taken over and completely overwhelmed the raisiny fruit. This wine was served too late, but it had a purpose...something had to take last place.
