  • Pale green, almost neutral color. Rich, aromatic and really fruit-forward nose with aromas of ripe pear and red apple, apple blossom, honeydew melon, some peach, a little watermelon and a hint of banana. Rich, aromatic and full-bodied on the palate, yet with bracing acidity that makes the wine feel very bright and lively. Ripe and opulent fruit flavors of peach, apricots, bitter herbs, honeydew melon, some pineapple, a little lemony citrus fruits and a hint of banana. Although bone-dry, the flavors seem to suggest some sweetness and very high ripeness - the steely acidity feels quite out of place in a wine that is so ripe and full-bdied. The finish is medium-long with rich and juicy flavors of ripe pear, apricots, mango, some grapey fruit, a little passion fruit, a hint of herbal bitterness and a touch of tart lemon juice.

A super-fruit and rich white wine that feels like a bit and ripe monster white, were it not for the remarkably high, bracing acidity, that seems to contradict the apparent ripeness of the fruit totally. The wine paradoxically manages to be really mouth-fillingly fruity yet very refreshing and lively at the same time. Surprisingly nice little white for a refreshing, fruit-forward summer white. Good value at 9,99€.
