What a remarkable bottle. It was so Bordeaux like that no one guessed correctly. We all thought it was an old world wine. Mix of black fruit & red fruit, tea leaves, potpourri & cocoa. Medium bodied with well balanced acidity providing a finesse palate. The tannins are well integrated and well-polished. Smooth finish with accompanied with plenty of fruitcake & dried fig notes

Originally drinking started in 2025 but moved up to 2021. Plum, dark berries. slight licorice, and lots of fruit. A wonderful New Zealand right bank bordeaux! Wish that there were more bottles that we could obtain.

Craggy Range Masterclass with Mark Cunliffe (wine ark alexandria): Pencil shavings, slight graphite, ripe black currant fruit with plum tending to umeboshi. Polished oak. On the palate it's juicy, fleshy but the fruit is subsumed beneath, admittedly smooth, tannins. I'm afraid I can't get excited by this.
