Brokenwood Cellar Door: Musk, rhubarb, redcurrant and cherry. Sweet fruit upfront, but there is some graphite and nice grip to pull it back. Less depth than the Kat's but still drinks nicely.

Whistestop Hunter tour (Hunter Valley): Medium minus intensity aromas of peppery spice, slightly funky wild ferment notes. Juicy, plummy, spicy with black hued fruits. Tannins are present, persistent, carry long but also carry the fruit. Well balanced and pretty good.
