G5; 4.5+8*+4*+8.5+8.5+4.5+4*=92+; Drank side by side with 2010 Kelley Fox Mirabai. Cinnamon and darker fruit are the very first impressions along with a very smooth acid and tannin balance. An excellent wine that almost merits its price tag, but does not have that site specificity that I like to see in this cost range. Obviously, this is a blend of Willamette sites (barrel select), so the objective is to make an excellent and drinkable wine, which is a success, but this price range of Pinot should have more terroir, which is not achievable in a site blended wine. Don't get me wrong, this is a very good bottle, but just not sure what the goal is at this price point.

IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Tasting pour. I expected to like this a lot more than I did, kind of so-so now. It was larger scaled, not really unexpectedly, quite a bit of vanilla now, ripe darker fruits, compote. I'd let this sit for awhile myself.

Enjoyed with family! Very smooth, but not as bold as you might expect from a pinot. Solid wine nevertheless.
