  Layers of cherry jam, rose, licorice, and Asian spices. All the complexity you expect at this price point, and then some.

  Still a bit tart with high tannins after double decanting. Should have let it sit for a couple more years

  punches above its weight. my wife and i had this with a grilled rib eye and thought it was terrific. very compelling QPR. good fruit; some cherry and raspberry and dark chocolate. tannins are a bit chunky but fine with a nice steak. happy to have had this

  Ox-blood in color, full bodied.
  Lovely subdued fruit forward nose. A hint of vanilla and oak.
  Super soft. CabSav dominated but has a merlot softness to it. Almost like a blend. Medium finish. So soft. Definitely not what I would expect from a Napa Cab. A nice wine that is in its window.. give it a long decant. Better with food. Drink up now or hold for 2-5 years. I don't think it will get much better.
