  • Opened weeks ago and this has remained solid since. The aromas are slightly funky and musty, but there's a very strong candied lychee notion that carries it. Lovely viscous body as expected. This tastes like creamed gummy bears in the most delicious way, with some tart ascorbic acid sprinkled on top. I love that acid streak and it literally makes my mouth water as its held on the tongue... what a crazy sensation. Lovely flavors, including marmalade. The finish hits with a strong burnt, dried sulfured apricot note that stays strong throughout the finish. I like the brightness of the finish.

  • Golden with typical eiswein nose with a little funk. Full round fruit and nice acidity but not as electric as I had hoped. Not really as focused as many eisweins from this great year. Almost blowsey by comparison. Hard to put my finger on exactly what is missing but it is a bit muddled in the middle. Not great but a good drink nonetheless.
