From a pretty magnum. Bright and full wine, definitely better at this stage when its young and energetic. Well round and albeit is a bit a youthful brat of a wine is very much enjoyable and welcoming when a wine with a bit of power is required and less of an elegant twist. 90

Really enjoyed this interesting selection by @[1|24439245|Joe Yee Wong] for our Butchers Table Hartamas - Kind of a "discussion evening" and gathering!
Tenuta di Triniro only produces 57,000 bottles so it's a relatively small output compared to the 200k plus capacity vineyards I am used to!
This Rosso Toscana is complex especially when first popped, with multiple layers of fruit and kept evolving through the evening.. Have to say I enjoyed this best in the first hour, where the cherry, spice and earth shone! Cheers!

Last bottle of a batch bought 2 years ago. Paired with some summer amatriciana sauce and buccatini.
From prior notes: "Rich purple color. Nose of red fruits, black cherry, spices. Palate is fruit forward - red fruit, baking spice, caramel, earth. Plush texture, still young. Medium weight and finish...."
This one got better about an hour in, adding depth and a mid palate sweetness. Picked up dark cherry, raspberry. Great red sauce wine, for the $25 I paid for this the QPR is outstanding...terrific everyday wine

Big firm structure of tannin and acidity over good fruits of the forest fruit but the overall impression is of a tough wine. The fruit saves it from being truly austere. Touch of leather and spice. Short finish, straightforward, drink through 2026 to maximise the fruit.
