Our next open pickup day will be Thursday November 30. Hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving! ----- Hello friends. New vintage today of a Washington Cabernet that is about as buzzy as buzzy gets around these parts, and it is being offered via pre-sell. I’ve mentioned this a handful of times; it seems like we’re entering a second age of the pre-sell. I missed the first age. By the time Full Pull launched in 2009, the economy was so lousy that most pre-sells had gone the way of the wooly mammoths. But there was a time in the early 2000s where a wine selling its entire production run via presell was not uncommon. And offers like today’s make me wonder if we’re seeing the stirrings of a return.See key for # of bottles currently available.

Sweat full body 100 % from Washington: bramble, vanilla, black cherry, leather, cassis, medium plus body, tad too sweat for me, lacking acidity to create an optimal balance.

Opened and it was lip smacking. Cassis and lots of blackberry. Initially a bit closed, heavy, but getting red fruits. Lots of fruit now. Cedar and licorice. Still good structure and getting softer. Well made.

A lotof blue fruit, moderate acidity, medium tannins
Good with a variety of cheeses with exception of stilton where it tastedflat

Starting to open up nicely. Nice acidity, darker fruits. Bigger and higher in alcohol.
