Fairly dark in color, not opaque, has it lightened a bit since release? Nose is more perfumed, floral than I remember, less obviously gamay to me but quite nice, beautiful medium weight in the mouth, medium depth, becoming more elegant and less forward and intense than I remember younger bottles being, still very flavorful, with lovely complexity and elegance. Just delicious, hard not to drink gulp after gulp it’s so tasty. Have a few left, wish I had a lot more to follow overmthe next decade.

Showing a touch of development, both color and palate , but this remains as tasty, juicy, flavorful, classic Beaujolais as it was on release. Oozes flavor, with excellent acidity and overall balance. Just flat out tasty.

A much different showing from a year and a half ago. More put together and playful, grape candy and jolly rancher. No formal notes but pretty darn tasty and with years to go.

Good QPR. Explosive, crunchy fruit on the palate upon opening, which eventually settled into a nice, balanced wine. Potpourri and baked rhubarb on the nose. The palate brings jammy blackberry with swirls of strawberry and pomegranate. The finish is refined and supple. Drink 2021-2026. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 92.
