Ripe juicy fruit on the nose: cherries to brambles and strawberries. Minty to stemmy lift. Full bodied fruit forward palate with pretty intense acidity making the ripe fruit bright. Slight tannic bite. Something bitter almondy here without the obvious aroma. Like a tart plum pit. Again one of those wines you don't really need to think, if it is fermented grape juice. Since it no doubt is. And a very good one I'd like to add.

{ #TasteAltoPiemonte } Bright ruby. Sleek, rustic, juicy and fresh. This doesn't have much in the way of stuffing, but for mid-week pasta or burgers, it's rather nice; I'd buy it. Medium-bodied, good acidity, modest tannins, a hint of bitter on the final. Drink now, 14,0% abv. recommended
