Deep rich chocolatey purple in color with aromas of hot house berry preserve. Full body with a twitch of acidity and mild tannins. Ripe blackcherry shows forward with cranberry, a pinch of earth, flint, and sulfur tagging along. The finish is long and a bit hot. It's on the robust side so let it open up. The acidity melts away after a while.

Drank along side a 2003 Silver Oak Napa Valley. This had a very simular flavor, with only a slightly shorter aftertaste.

As the name suggests, this is the "a.s. kiken" wine from Napa. Amazing flavor, easy to drink. Not to mention it comes from Diamond Mountain!
