  Drinking very nicely right now. Could easily mistake the colour for an aged pinot. Mid weight and brimming with cherry and a bit of spice, moderate tannin, well balanced and integrated. Bodes well for all of my 15 Brunello's waiting to be opened.

  Very fine. Well structured, balanced, jucy with plenty of red fruit and herbs, good, but not aggressive acidity and a full body. Still a young wine.

  Best value Rosso Di Montalcino. Deep, sweet notes of cherry and plum. Very close to a Brunello on the nose. Lacks a bit of the complexity and intensity on the palate. Smooth now and the acidity has been reduced. Too bad I don’t anymore of this vintage...
